The Golden Studio is led by designer Sara Efia Reddin, a London-born textile and object designer of Ghanaian heritage. Educated at Central Saint Martins, Sara spent many years in Paris before settling in Barcelona in 2021. Sara’s inspiration for Golden is rooted in her Ghanaian heritage—her mother and aunt’s cherished craft collections filled her childhood with the rich textures of African basketry, leatherwork, wood and bronze sculpture, and beautifully woven or printed cloth. Golden Editions draws deeply from this West African heritage, layered with influences from Sara’s own creative journey: the boldness of London, the elegance of Paris, and the sun-drenched spirit of Barcelona. Worldly, eclectic, and joyfully Afrochic.
