Funky Simplicity started over 25 years ago with Sanne's one-way ticket to Indonesia and a single pair of flares made for dancing on Koh Phangan. What began as a love for movement and freedom turned into a mission: creating timeless, high-quality cotton stretch wear that feels as good as it looks without compromising on how it's made. Every piece is handcrafted by Ketut Mertha and his family in their home atelier in Bali - a studio Funky Simplicity built together with them in 2020. Small batches, silk-screen prints by hand, and every stitch personally inspected. There is no mass production or any other shortcuts. Founded by Sanne and based in Amsterdam, Funky Simplicity is a fair-trade company at its core.
