AENAON Jewellery Jewelry · Thessaloniki, Greece
Family jewellery workshop in Thessaloniki with over 35 years of craft. Founded by Afroditi Goula and continued with her daughter Ismini.

There's something immediately disarming about talking to Ismini. She came on screen calm, precise, measured. The kind of person who chooses their words the way her mother chooses her materials. Which, as it turns out, is very carefully.
Ismini runs the world around AENAON Jewellery: the strategy, the communication, everything that doesn't happen at the workbench. Her mother, Afroditi Goula, handles the workbench. And what a workbench it is. In her studio in Thessaloniki, Afroditi has been designing and making jewellery by hand for over 35 years. Not as a craft exercise. As a life's work.
Afroditi herself appeared briefly during our call. A warm interruption, not really speaking English, but very much present. You got the sense that she didn't need the camera to fill the room. Her pieces do that. Geometric, sculptural, quietly confident. AENAON's jewellery carries the weight of someone who has spent decades thinking about form.
The name says it. AENAON means "eternal" in Greek. Not in the dramatic, marketing-speak sense. In the quieter sense that what they make is meant to last: to be worn for years, passed on, lived with. There's no trend-chasing here. No seasonal drops. Just a considered collection that grows slowly, the way trust does.
What struck me most about this mother-daughter duo is the clarity of how they've divided things up, and how naturally it seems to work. Ismini spent time in Germany, speaks the language of logistics and communication fluently. Afroditi speaks through her hands. Together, they've built something that feels less like a brand and more like a practice: two generations of care, expressed in silver and gold.
AENAON is stocked in some of the most respected spaces in Greece, from the Benaki Museum Shop in Athens to quiet island boutiques that feel like they were curated specifically for this kind of work. It travels well. So do the pieces themselves.
If you wear jewellery that means something to you, this is worth your attention.
