Elisabetta Lombardo on this piece
The Ijiraq Vase XXII is a handcrafted piece from the 274 moons / 274 vases series, inspired by the unique irregularity of Saturn's moons. It is crafted from groggy red stoneware clay, hand-coiled and fired to 1240°C. A porcelain slip brushes its surface, with an interior coated in a matte white glaze, leaving the exterior raw and unglazed. This small, functional vase stands 11 cm tall with a diameter of approximately 8 cm, offering a tangible connection to celestial forms. A certificate of authenticity accompanies each piece, ensuring its place in an exclusive collection.
