Beginning as a 700g ball of porcelain clay, it is shaped without tools, resulting in a uniquely organic form. A delicate lava glaze, enhanced with a touch of copper oxide, adorns its exterior, creating unpredictable patterns and colors. This process requires patience, as the bowl is carefully dried and smoothed over several days before its first firing at 960°C.
